The Golden Heart Community Foundation is an affiliated fund of the Alaska Community Foundation and its sole mission is to build a long term endowment, a sort of “permanent fund” so that the interest earned will be here for the long term needs of our community. Unlike the Alaska Permanent Fund, the dividends won’t be paid to individuals, but to projects and nonprofit groups that improve our community.
