In our efforts to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, it can feel like there are many things we can’t do; but there is something we can do. Amidst all the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, nonprofits are on the frontline working harder than ever to respond to the escalating needs in our community. As Alaskans, we will weather this storm by uniting as a community to care for each other. The Alaska Community Foundation and United Way of Anchorage have partnered with the support of Rasmuson Foundation to create a centralized community assistance platform: the AK Can Do Fund.
You can be a part of the immediate local response effort in Fairbanks, thanks to this new non-endowed fund. Your gift to the AK Can Do Fund’s Fairbanks Designation will stay 100% local. 100% of the funds raised will go back to the nonprofits doing the frontline work to keep our community safe, healthy, and vibrant.
Please consider an AK Can Do Fairbanks Fund donation today. Or, if you prefer, you can donate to GHCF’s Grant Endowment Fund to support nonprofits in the future.
