Grants & Community Projects

As an organization, our goal is to support projects of importance to our community and that will help us all become better stewards of the land. We are continually listening and learning about what is important to you. We are just beginning to build our endowment, and made our first grants in 2014.

Our grantmaking priorities are still in development, but will support projects that strengthen our community. They will likely include organizations and programs that serve youth, the elderly, recreation, safety, vulnerable populations, and arts and culture.

The Golden Heart Community Foundation Grant Cycle begins accepting applications on September 1st!

The Golden Heart Community Foundation’s Grant Cycle opens September 1st and closes on October 14th at 5 pm. We seek applications from qualified tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations (or equivalent organizations) in the greater Fairbanks area that serve needs such as health, education, community heritage, the arts, vulnerable populations, animal welfare, recreation, safety, and community and economic development.

Please look over the grant guidelines below to see if your organization is eligible to apply. If you are a new user to the online system, please read the tutorial below.
